Creation of institution is the need of the nation
Institution- a collective effort to achieve a goal, which coincides with the larger goals of a nation. Network of institutions is what makes the growth and development in a nation more speedily achievable, visible and impactful.
Institutions indirectly achieves the welfaristic goals, which is expected as the job of the state.
When a businessman starts by opening a shop/factory, he is indirectly creating an institution that would be a base for next generation to build upon and in the meanwhile results in creation of jobs for unskilled workers and skilled workforce.
Also, when an entrepreneur thinks of creating an enterprise, it may be his personal desire to become rich, it but it is creation of an institution.
When a unskilled person becomes street hawker by selling merchandise, or placing a street eatery cart, indirectly it is the starting of an institution where in he will eventually become a businessman who would own the shop and build a base for creating some number of jobs.
Also, when a youth after completing his education seeks jobs, it the institutions which absorbs him and thus helping government to reduce the unemployment.
But when this very youth after some years of savings, thinks of starting his own venture or follow his passion, will bring two folded benefit- by creating vacancy for other job seeker and to create an institution to become job provider.
When a person who struggles to receive education try hard to create a school in his village, he is actually creating an institution of creating bright minds.
When a farmer with lesser lands starts making rented premises for survival, he is creating an institution.
When a government servant, knowing that he will work for next 30 years starts owning lands and plots from his saving, it is beginning of an institution wherein he after his retirement or his next generation will eventually start building upon these open plots to create housing for people.
Land that the farmers tills in order to survive, is in itself an institution which gives a product that brings food to market.
And this chain of institutions keeps contributing to what we call a developed nation.
Also, Institution is not a mere infrastructure in the form of brick and mortar rather it is also the process of sending out waves of thoughts that inspires lakhs of people on social media like celebrities, politicians etc; or thousands of people through a speech like motivational speakers; or hundreds of youth in a village by the first IAS officer of the village etc. This wave of thoughts gives directions to those lacking guidance.
Inculcating education is one of the key function of the state which brings bright minds out of the brains and changes lives of millions of citizens but it can bring a radical change in every sector if each educated mind creates one institution in the form of enterprise, business house, a small shop, a school etc, at any age like after college, after retirement, during employment. This small wave of thought if inculcated in students/employees by parents/school teachers/social media- to create an institution will result in job creation at small and large scale, resulting in lesser burden in the state to tackle unemployment.
In the process of creating institutions, great visionaries would be created and unthinkable niche will be created by this very wave of thought that- I have to create some kind of institution in my life time.
